Guest: When can we see the northern lights?
Seppo: Exactly at 23 minutes past twelve. Just as every night.

Guest: Is it save to have a snowshoe trip to the jungle in the night?
Jaana: The what?
Guest: The jungle!

Guest: Is it going to be a good night for northern lights?
Jaana: I don’t think so.
Guest: Why not?
Jaana: Because you can’t see the stars.
Guest: Why not?
Jaana: Because it’s cloudy.
Guest: And then you can’t see the stars?
Jaana: No…?
Guest: Is that normal?
Jaana: Yes!

Jaana: Seppo, the guests just won’t leave the restaurant and we have to clean now.
Seppo (to everyone): There might be a chance for northern lights tonight!
Everyone jumps up, grabs the coat and rushes out.
Me: Seppo, nice trick!
Seppo: Oh, it wasn’t a trick. There is a chance. There is always a chance, you know.

Guest: All these dogs look so small, are they all puppies?
Jaana: No, they are siberian huskies.
Guest: Aaaah, okay!

Me: Please, help the dogs up the hill! Kick!
Guest: I’m afaraid of roots!

Jaana: Help the dogs! Kick them up now! No, not the dogs, the sled!

Me: Please stop taking pictures, it’s not safe! You have to hold on to the handle bar!
Guest: Just a few moooooore!

    Liebe Grüße,
    Lynn
